Bea glared back. “Don’t bother! We don’t want to get in your way again.” Pulling Keira after her, she hurried out of the shop and the door closed behind them. “That boy is so annoying!” she said.
“I know – just ignore him! At least the sign says the right thing now.” Keira smoothed her hair back. “Let’s go back to Ruby Palace. Then after dinner we can get into our pyjamas and watch a movie.”
Bea smiled back. “And then we can have our midnight feast!”
