Three of the most infamous were Caligula, Nero and Commodus. You would dEfInItElY do your schoolwork if any of these guys told you to.

Do you ever wish . . . something BIG would happen in your neighbourhood? Do you think your town should be renamed Dullsville? Is the most exciting thing that happens around
your way open day at the Paperclip Museum?
Well how about a volcano! That would liven things up a bit, wouldn’t it?
Be careful what you wish for. Back in AD 79, the Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum were destroyed when Mount Vesuvius erupted on a sunny summer afternoon.
Burning ash rained down on the towns, burying everything up to four metres (13 feet) deep and trapping the residents where they cowered. The ashes hardened around the bodies of those who died, eventually creating hollow “moulds” of their original shapes. The shapes of people of all ages and animals, including a dog, have been discovered.
They were frozen in time by the dust, and although it is not known exactly how many people died, it’s assumed that the remains of the 1,500 people that have so far been uncovered by archaeologists are just
a fraction of the total number.
Anyone fancy a trip to the Paperclip Museum?
