You will need:
lots of daisies
– about 5 for a bracelet and 10-12 for a necklace or crown
a quiet place to sit
Daisy, DAISY
There’s nothing quite so delightful as a daisy chain! Make pretty spring necklaces and bracelets for you and all your friends.
First, pick your daisies.
Make sure they have nice, long stems, but be careful not to pull up the roots of the plant.
Choose your first daisy. Use your thumbnail to make a small slit near the bottom of the stem.
Poke the stem of your second daisy through the hole you have created, gently pulling it all the way through. This is the start of your chain.
Now make a slit in the stem of the second daisy and pull your third daisy stem through. Repeat until you have made your chain as long as you like.
To finish your chain, make a bigger slit in the last stem and carefully slip the flower head of the first daisy through to fasten it. Then put it on, or give it to a friend!
