They have a necklace of human hearts, blood and hands – all the rage among the fashion- conscious Tzitzimimes.
They have a skirt made of shells
and a cape made of skulls and bones – practical, organic
AND stylish!
So, if you’re the kind of person who freaks out if they break a mirror or accidentally walks under a ladder, have a little think, now. Would you rather bump into a Star Demon who’s going to eat you, or sweep up some broken glass while trying to avoid whacking your head on a ladder? Thought so.

If you saw a ghost or demon, the best thing to do was run home (like you´d need to be TOLD to do that) and drop a special knife made of volcanic black glass called obsidian into a bowl of water. When the beastie looked in the bowl it would see its reflection and be scared off. Do you have an obsidian knife? No? Oh dear.
