Back in those days people certainly had different tastes from us. Although they enjoyed beef, pork, and lamb just as many people do now, Ice Age people got essential vitamin C by eating the contents of reindeers’ stomachs, which looked like cooked spinach! Feel free to stick to fruit for your vitamin C if you can’t find any reindeer.
 Wondering about one type of meat that’s popular nowadays, but hasn’t been mentioned? Well, chickens as food weren’t introduced until there was contact with the Romans. It was very un-clucky for them when they did end up on the menu.
