  OMG he´s like totally got loads of fish fingers for his dinner!
People who lived close to the sea would have had easier access to fish, while in cities fish was expensive and seen as a luxury dish – as it was hard to transport fish and keep it fresh in the hot climate.
He must be SUPER rich! I am sooooo jealous of his fish fingers.
Must pop down to the shops, we´re almost out of curdled milk!
For lunch it was usually bread and
a sort of rough goat’s cheese made of – yep, you guessed it – more curdled milk. Delicious. If you like that sort of thing.
Dinner for most ancient Greeks would have been fairly basic, depending on how rich you were and where you lived. In the country farmers had farm animals to eat, such as chickens, while people could also hunt hares and other wild animals.
