If music is your thing, you’re in luck – the ancient Greeks loved singing and played a wide variety of musical instruments, including the harp, lyre and the pan pipes.
Almost no Written music has survived from the period, so no one knows what it sounded like. Maybe they were into HiP HoP and HeAvY MeTaL?
It seems women enjoyed a boogie, as there are many vase paintings showing women and girls dancing.

Men also enjoyed a turn on the dancefloor. Soldiers did something called Phyrrhic dance dressed in full armour, and men also danced in theatre performances and at male beauty cOnTeStS. Just keep your fingers crossed your dad doesn’t get any ideas!
