Synopsis
The advanced intelligence robot Adam-2 has been locked in a basement for over two hundred years when one
day he is found by two children, Linden and Runa. They are fascinated by the robot, but also horrified and hos- tile, and before he has a chance to properly introduce himself, Linden stuns him with an EMP (electro-magnet- ic pulse) device and the two children leave. However, they’re suddenly attacked by another – much larger – robot, and when Adam saves them they decide to take him with them. Leaving his home for the first time in two centuries,Adam learns that years ago a war waged between robots and humans, destroying civilisation and leaving only small groups of survivors behind. The two children have never seen a robot like Adam before – one who is so advanced, can seemingly think for himself, and who doesn’t mindlessly attack humans.
