Use energy-efficient light bulbs as they use much less electricity than conventional bulbs.

If something breaks, instead of buying something new, which will require materials and energy – learn how to fix it.
Make your own eco-friendly party decorations instead of using balloons to reduce plastic waste.
Create flyers to share with neighbours telling them how they can help, too.
Make sure your flyers are made from recycled paper.
