not easy, but she was not alone. We were not alone. Our God
embraced her and us with His tangible love and
incomprehensible peace. Who finds peace in situations like
these that seem so dire? In moments when unhuman peace
envelops utter human brokenness, I am convinced God is
real and very present to those who cry out to Him. Our
emotions were real, Mama’s pain was real, and our peace
was genuine.”
Prayer:

God, truly, You are the God of Peace. You are The big “C”
(Christ), the Great Physician who heals those who are sick.
You are the compassionate Christ who is bigger than cancer.
I pray for protection over the health of my family, friends
and all who read this book now and for the rest of their lives.
I pray that those who are sick will receive healing, comfort
and peace that passes all understanding. Thank You,
YHWH Shalom!
YHWH Shalom is a Hebrew name for God, meaning The
Lord is Peace. It is one of many Old Testament names for
God used by Gideon during his greatest distress. God
promises that He will be with him in the battles to come.
