DAY 12: THE LORD, OUR WARRIOR
"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors
through Him who loved us."
Romans 8:37
Ritche O. Olivares Testimony
In 2022, I was faced with a challenge. I suffered severe pain
in my right abdomen. On June 21, I was diagnosed with
incarcerated indirect inguinal hernia on the right abdomen,
a rare case for women. So, I underwent a hernioplasty and
excision of lipoma by cutting off the ligament. The
procedure was successful, and I returned to work after three
days (June 27, but still recuperating).
On August 24 that year, I experienced hallucinations for the
very first time. It was a pleasant, enjoyable, and beautiful
kind of experience. I saw no sadness, sorrow, hunger, or
pain. My mouth kept declaring, “Continue to preach the
gospel. Don’t be ashamed to share His Word... Brethren,
Heaven is real," to some of my fellow workers from
nd
different regions of the Philippines. It was the 2 day of the
annual planning in Zamboanga, Mindanao. I thanked God
that He did not allow me to faint or to become comatose.
In the evening, I prayed to our Almighty Sovereign God to
show mercy to me. I thank my friend Remy, head of a child
care development center based in Bacolod, who stayed to
pray and sing with me. Also, my other friend, Stenili, our
Child Development Program (CDP) Coordinator of AMG
Philippines, gave her full support for me.
