          ADVERTISING IN THE METAVERSE


          Facebook changed  its  name to Meta,  but the  data  it
          accumulated  over time  could still  be used  to support
          Facebook’s own metaverse. There will undoubtedly be
          new users, but there will also be a significant number of
          previous Facebook platform users who will have direct
          access to the upcoming metaverse. In addition to their
          identities,  Meta’s  digital  world will  include  marketing
          data  associated  with  those  identities.  Advertisers  and
          businesses can use this data to market their wares in
          the digital world, which can be used by both the user and
          the marketer.

          The  Sandbox  company,  a  decentralized,  community-
          driven platform where creators can create voxel assets
          (or collectable  entities)  and  gaming experiences  and
          monetize them on the blockchain, now has over 500,000
          members, each of whom can create their own games and
          in-world  materials.  If  an  advertiser  could successfully
          handle all of the data available from this entire population
          of consumers, marketing  campaigns  could be  greatly
          improved by segmenting distinct groups. Similarly, data
          gathered from external sources can be used to promote
          specific  tokens  or  attributes  to  users  based  on  the
          interests expressed by those users.

          Metaverse  expansion  and  innovation  will  continue  at
          a  rapid  pace.  By  2032,  the  addition  of metaverses  is
