Web 1.0 - 3.0 and the dark Web
● Digital infrastructure and personal information
security.
● More secure personal information as part of
decentralized financial transactions.
● Universal Digital Payment Gateway.
● Blockchain-based autonomous organizations,
peer-to-peer digital financial transactions, smart
contracts, and cryptocurrency transactions.
● Members of online communities owning the sites.
Keep in mind that Web 3.0 has not yet been implemented.
The Augmented Reality (AR) Cloud, a technology used
to create immersive experiences, as well as other Web
3.0 elements like NFTs, Blockchain, and distributed
ledgers are already infiltrating our online experiences.
Siri and the Internet of Things (IoT) are also Web 3.0
technologies which are already in existence. When Web
3.0 is fully implemented, it will be closer to Berners Lee’s
original vision of an Internet that can process content
conceptually. There will be “no single point of failure”
because you will not need permission from any “central
authority” to post anything. There will also be no “kill
switch.”
Despite this, there is still much work to be done,
particularly in speech recognition, because human
speech contains a dizzying array of nuances and terms
that technology cannot yet fully comprehend. It’s come a
long way, but the process is still far from complete.
THE DARK WEB
The dark web is often depicted as a mysterious and
hard-to-understand part of the Internet, so let’s bust that
myth.
