Social Media and You

            2. Finding Your Voice
Anyone, regardless of age, can use social media to
reach a larger audience than they would have otherwise.
As a result, people can gain confidence, learn new
            communication methods, and quickly disseminate
valuable information. Through TikTok, teenagers and
young adults have created massive platforms from which
they frequently communicate with tens of thousands, if
not millions, of people. The cost and barrier to entry are
            extremely low.

            3. Compassion and Generosity in Action

People aren’t afraid to share their deepest thoughts and
feelings on social media platforms such as Facebook,
Instagram and Twitter. When you can relate to others,
messages and comments can be used to demonstrate
empathy. It can demonstrate to people you care about
(and others you’ve never met) that you’re interested in
and sympathetic to their point of view. Seeing people
persevere in the face of adversity may inspire and
            enlighten us.

            4. Providing Assistance to Others
Social media can be used to support or promote a cause
in which you strongly believe. Whether you’re starting a
new business, displaying your photography, or writing
poems, those who share your interests may be able to
assist you. It provides an opportunity to get to know
others in your field and share your knowledge.
