EXAMPLES OF RECOMMENDED VENDORS
Amazon.com offers business tradeline accounts which allow
businesses to take advantage of special wholesale pricing. These
accounts do not require a personal guarantee from the business
owner.
Amazon reports successful payments made to its business
tradeline accounts to Dun & Bradstreet and to Equifax. This
means that by making purchases through an Amazon business
tradeline and paying your invoice using your Brex secured credit
card, your business purchases are being reported to Equifax,
Experian, and to Dun & Bradstreet twice. Talk about building
business credit history!
Lowe’s is another vendor that can be useful for businesses in
certain industries. Lowe’s reports to Equifax, Experian, and Dun
& Bradstreet, meaning that if you pay your Lowe’s invoice using
a Brex credit card, your successful payment will be reported to
Equifax once and to Experian and Dun & Bradstreet both twice.
Now that’s efficient.
Another example of a useful vendor is TigerDirect Electron-
ics. Like Amazon business tradelines, business tradelines from
TigerDirect offer special wholesale pricing on electronics that
you may need for your business.
TigerDirect reports its payment history to Experian and
Equifax, so when you pay your TigerDirect invoices with your
Brex credit card, your payment history will be reported to
Experian twice in addition to reporting to Equifax and D & B.
These are, of course, just examples of businesses offering Tier
2 business credit tradelines. Countless major retailers and
suppliers offer credit tradelines to businesses that have some
credit history.
To optimize your business’s credit reports, choose vendors
that report to at least two: Equifax, Experian, Dun & Bradstreet.
Then pay your invoices to these vendors using your Brex credit
card to stack your credit reporting history. 1
