There are many echelons of business credit, from those occupied
by the mega-corporations of the world to the Tier 1 credit used by
new business owners who are just learning the ropes of busi- ness
finance. In this book, we will move up through Tier 4, as this is
the gateway into the level of financing at which rapid expansion
into a franchise or large corporation can occur if you want it to.

Tier 4 credit includes a number of types of credit that are not
typically available to new businesses and businesses without
much-reported credit history. These include:

Computer leases from major tech companies.
Car financing from major car companies.
Bank credit cards which may have very high credit
limits, useful rewards programs, and other favorable
terms.
Financing from investors who may infuse large
amounts of cash into your business and may also offer
guidance in growing your business to the next level.
