THE PROSPEROUS WAY
A HEART OF INTEGRITY
Whatever situation we encounter in our life’s journey, God wants us to
walk through it in righteousness. As with any other of our life’s pursuits,
in pursuing prosperity our first priority is always to demonstrate Jesus to
others. We are true witnesses of who He is when we reflect His
righteousness before men. So then, we seek to always honour our
commitments and to deal honestly with others. If we think that it is not
possible to make money with honesty in the area of our chosen
occupation, then we likely have chosen the wrong occupation and must
choose again. God does not want us to compromise our integrity and
our witness of Him for the sake of material gain.
• The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his
delight. (Proverbs 11:1)
• Better to be poor than a liar. (Proverbs 19:22)
• Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness
delivers from death. (Proverbs 11:4)
• Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man
whose ways are perverse. (Proverbs 28:6)
• Jabez was more honourable than his brothers . And Jabez cried
out to the God of Israel; “Oh that you would bless me indeed
and enlarge my territory….!” And God granted his request.
(1 Chronicle 4:9)
“A good name is more desirable than riches,
to be esteemed better than silver or gold.”
(Proverbs 22:1)
