looked as good as they could. Even Connie seemed concerned
with Trash and his view of her hair. This was very odd. At the
time, he did not realize that this was because of the XTC.
Shortly, he would come to realize it. Eventually, when Trash

was amazed at how good they all looked, the book club
resumed.

“I believe it was Wanda’s turn.” Connie said. Wanda was
Steve’s sister who hated Trash.

“Talk about your tortured romance!” Wanda began, “This takes
the cake. She completely hoses the first poor bastard and can’t
make up her mind. Then she marries someone else. The old

bitch is not a very likable character, either. The boy, however,
is a brash and lovable character, much resembling Trash.” She
bats her eyes at him.

With this Tommy and Steve begin laughing uncontrollably,
knowing Wanda, much like her best friend Connie, cannot
stand Trash. Trash made a supreme effort to keep a straight

face and failed miserably.

“She’s right.” Said Connie. All the others nodded and voiced
their agreement. Steve and Tommy rolled upon the floor
laughing. Trash could no longer keep his composure and
laughed into his hand. When they regained their composure
Steve asked, ”What do you think of the TV show ‘Suits’?" There
was a short pause and all of them stated their enthusiastic
