Ten minutes of uncomfortable silence later, they arrive at “The
Pickled Pig” tavern. Trash turns to the others and says, “Just
don’t think and follow my lead.”
"The Pickled Pig Tavern" was a converted farmhouse. The
owner lived in the house, had a kitchen put into the shed which
connected the house to the barn and the barn itself was turned
into a pub. Nobody knew how they got the name. Nobody
remembered applying for the name. They applied to have the
pub
called, "Ethan's", however, when the application came back it
was approved for a place called "The Pickled Pig". Rather than
reapply, they just had a sign made and went with it.
The barn was quite eccentric. They only had enough money to
finish remodeling half of it. That half had new windows,
carpeting and sheet-rock. The other side had old stained barn-
boards and painted shut windows with storm windows on the
outside. They were so dirty that you could not really see
through them. It was too difficult to take off the storm
windows to clean between the windows, so they left them
