alone. The remodeled side had baseboard heat and a
thermostat. The old section had a wood-stove in the corner.

What the owners could not understand was that although they

had the same tables and chairs throughout the barn, nobody
would sit in the new area. Everyone would sit in the old area. If
that area filled up, they would move the tables closer together
and bring tables from the new area to the old area. Essentially,
the remodeled half was not used. They tried giving discounts
on drinks if people would sit there. A few would sit there every
now and then. Eventually, they put a stage at that end and
used the carpeted area as the dance floor. People would dance
on the old floor until it was full, then they had no problem

extending the dance on to the new floor. One day Ethan, the
owner, had asked Trash why he thought the people preferred
the old section of the barn. Trash said it reminded them of
home. He suggested that if you hired a woman to come in and
yell at everybody every couple hours, they would feel so at
home they would never leave.

Steve, Trash and Tommy enter the pub and are greeted by
several people who know them. Trash looks around and is
relieved to see that Kara is working. Kara is physically the most
beautiful woman Trash or Steve had ever seen, so far. That
would be cured within twenty-four hours. She was not a super-
model thin woman, she was the curvaceous extremely sexy
girl-next-door type. Her complexion was perfect. Steve could
hardly speak in her presence. She was tall, buxom but
