For those who have already started their Pathfinder journey, or for those interested in
beginning their path, two of the questions relate to the Council of Deliberation, which
was recently held on May 18th, specifically Mile Markers 007 & 008 under the
Organization Waypoint.
Some of the following information might prove helpful in getting you started:
A Council of Deliberation is the state organization for the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite
for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction and is the authority for the Scottish Rite and
works under The Sovereign United Supreme Council and assists in promoting the
welfare of the SRNMJ. The Council meets to discuss rules, guidelines, and structure of
the bodies under its jurisdiction. It is comprised of the Deputy, Active Members
[including Emeritus], the respective Valley Secretaries, Treasurers, Presiding Officers,
Current Elected Officers, 33° Honorary Members, and M.S.A. Award Recipients.
Currently, the Delaware Council of Deliberation consists of both the Valley of
Wilmington (VOW) and the Valley of Lower Delaware (VOW).
I believe that the Delaware Council of Deliberation was formed in 1912, which was the
year that the Delaware Consistory was established.
