FROM THE SOUTH . . .

On Tuesday, May 14th, several members of the Knights of
St. Andrew of the Scottish Rite from both the Valley of
Wilmington and the Valley of Lower Delaware had the
honor and privilege of assisting in the Installation of the
Grand Officers of the Order of Eastern Star in Delaware.
Worthy Grand Matron, Rosemarie Vanderhoogt, expressed her
gratitude for the assistance of the KSA, and hoped that this first
time assistance of the KSA could become a tradition. A great big thanks to all the

brothers who participated.

In addition, Brother Jay Jimenez gave everyone a stunning rendition of our National
Anthem. Jay, one of the newest members of the Valley of Lower Delaware, is becoming
somewhat of a celebrity around town with his vocal talents. Well done, brother!

Meritorious Service Award

The Meritorious Service Award (MSA) may be conferred
upon members of the Rite in this Jurisdiction who have
attained the 32° and who by reason of meritorious service

of a Masonic character are deemed worthy of such recognition.
