Intuition, on the other hand, brings awareness to that still inner voice that according to Spar Street is “the voice that knows the way” or “the voice that knows great.”
Spar, Johanna and their daughter Shanti, live in Hawaii.
Their story is a story of tuning into the power within, not only as individuals but also as a couple.
Of the 75-plus people interviewed, Johanna and Spar were one of the best examples of a couple where I perceived a very high level of intimacy and oneness between two people.
As an artist, Spar depends on “the voice that knows the way” to create. His success as a painter and sculptor depends on an intimate connection with his leader within – his creative expression.
I’ve always wondered why some people are very talented and successful while the average person settles for a more mundane life.
I believe a deep connection with their intuitive mind (both intuition and feeling) is that difference, no matter what the chosen path. Some would define it as the integrated mind.
According to a survey conducted in 2006 among company CEOs, 6 out of 10 said they were more likely to rely on intuition than metrics when making important business decisions. When a similar survey was given to successful entrepreneurs, it was 9 out of 10.
The power of an intuitive vision
Twenty years ago Spar had a vision, an “intuitive hit,” and he listened. According to his internal guide, he was to create a symbol of peace that would reside in cities around the world.
He spent the next three and one-half years working on the sculpture pictured at the beginning of this section. After its creation, he presented it to the Nobel Peace Foundation and they wanted to use it, but put the project on hold because of budget constraints.
