As years went by, Spar forgot about it. Fifteen years after his first vision, he got a call from two members of the Nobel family saying that they wanted to go ahead with the project.
Over the coming years, we will see Spar’s great peace symbol in more than 50 cities around the world. The sculptures will be from 12 to 20 feet high in each of the cities.
The following excerpts from our interview were in response to specific questions:
What is intuition?
“It’s the ‘woo woo’ sense that much of our society puts down. It’s the sense that connects with the higher intelligence. Functioning without that is like living your life in the dark.
“In order to hear your intuition you need an open mind. When your mind is closed, you are pushing life.”
What is the difference between listening or not?
“Intuition fills you with joy and ecstasy, inspiration and power.
“The other comes from neediness and emptiness. I have to do this or eat this or depend on this person to compensate for the lack I’m feeling inside.”
What is the value of intuition?
“We can function with the power that knows the way or we can function blindly. There is no way to overstate its value.”
After the interview, Spar came back with an answer directly from his internal voice:
“The voice inside my head says that anything I do without the guidance of the intuition leads nowhere. Thought you would like to hear that too.”
