Step 2: Breathe into your heart area
Focus your attention on your breath and breathe into your heart area for a minute or two. It is very important to let the problem go for a brief period.
Step 3: Recall a positive feeling
Image a time or situation when you were happy or experienced a positive feeling of some kind – an experience of well-being. Focus on a specific feeling of well-being while you continue your heart focused breathing.
You might think of someone you care about, a pet, child or some other focus that gives you a good feeling.
Step 4: Ask Your Leader Within
“What is an appropriate response to this situation?”
Step 5: Listen
To what your heart, or internal guide, says in answer to your question and take action as appropriate.
This is an excellent exercise for asking Your Leader Within in response to a stressful situation.
A good way to test this exercise for you is to go back and see what you wrote down initially and compare the action you will or are about to take with the action you might have taken without using this
