KAWRJ supports Congregation Kol Ami in many ways. The two that are most obvious are:
• Facilitatingsocialsthatbringmemberstogetherthroughvarious activities
• Providing scholarships for temple youth to attend URJ camps and NFTY Israel experiences
Sociable Signups are opportunities to participate in memorable events while getting better acquainted with people who have similar interests. As an added benefit, 100% of the cost of attendance goes directly to CKA’s URJ Camps Scholarship Fund.
This year there are seven different get-togethers. Note the dates they will be held. We suggest you sign up right away, as spaces are limited. If you would like to make a gift of attendance, we’ll provide you with a gift card for your guest.
Consider a Hanukkah gift of tickets for High Tea or the Blueberry BBQ. Or possibly a birthday or Mother’s Day gift of the FEAST dinner with beverage pairings that will be held on Mother’s Day weekend. Sign up online at http://tinyurl.com/SocialableSignups.

Join our Habitat for
Humanity Build
Sunday, November 18
8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
CKA will be back at McKibbon Commons in the Heights to continue work on one of the final houses in this project. Anyone age 16+ may volunteer; no prior experience is necessary. All tools and on-the-job training are provided.
Dress appropriate to the weather with layers and wear sturdy shoes. We don’t know if we’ll be working outdoors or in, but there is no heat in houses during construction. Bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks for the day.
We need to preregister our volunteers. Please contact Joel R and Sue M if you are able to participate all day. More info will be sent a few days ahead of the build. This event is open to your friends and family; you don’t need be to a CKA member to join us. RSVP today!
