Expo 2020 is the universal exhibition hosted by Dubai in the United Arab
Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. It was scheduled for 20 Oc-
tober 2020 to 10 April 2021 Later it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pan-
demic. Despite being postponed, organizers kept the name Expo 2020 for
marketing and branding purposes. The main site of Expo 2020 Dubai is locat-
ed between the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, near Dubai's southern border
with Abu Dhabi
The World Expo in Dubai in 2020 will be the first to be
held in the ME, NA & SA (the Middle East and North
Africa & South Asia) region. This gives opportunity to
everyone around the world to access the daily futuris-
tic interactions. On 27 November 2013, when Dubai
won the right to host the expo 2020, fireworks erupt-
ed at the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa.

The EXPO 2020, hailed as the world’s greatest show, began on the 1 of Octo-

ber, 2021, and it will last till the 31 of March, 2022. The EXPO was unfortu-
nately delayed due to the COVID - 19 pandemic.
An extravagant opening ceremony ushered in the global event, which will run
until March 2022. A host of stars from the music world joined the spectacular
ceremony.
The site for EXPO 2020 is located very closely to the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
Dubai is hosting 192 countries for the EXPO 2020. Flights and borders were re-
opened few months earlier, to welcome everyone for the EXPO.

Dubai was named as the host of EXPO 2020 on 27 November, 2013.
To enter this marvellous place, E-TICKETS can be booked online using the offi-
cial EXPO 2020 website. People under 18 and visitors aged 60 and above, are
allowed to enter for free. One daily pass costs AED 95.
The theme of EXPO 2020 is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.
