Dear Fellow Employee,

Welcome to Mission Pharmacal Company. For over seventy years, the Walsdorf family
has taken pride in creating a safe and productive work environment. As part of the Mission family,
we invite you to join in the company’s efforts to improve people’s lives through innovative
pharmaceutical and consumer products and superior services. My goal as Mission’s President is
to provide you a rewarding work experience that is mutually beneficial between you and the
company.

Mission’s management will provide guidance and incentives for the growth of all our
employees. This handbook will provide you with the information about working at Mission. The
policies, programs and benefits set forth in this handbook are guidelines that should be followed.
Mission will update the handbook over time to keep you informed of the changing policies and
benefits.
