The harvest festival of Punjab, Baisakhi, was
celebrated with a Shabad Kirtan (group of hymns
that are commonly used for reciting Kirtan) recital
by the students of Grades VI, VII and VIII, followed
by a Shabad Kirtan recitation by the teachers. The
Grade V students won everyone’s hearts with their
exuberant bhangra performance.
Ms. Meenakshi Mehta, The Head of School
addressed the students and sensitised them
towards the importance of the rich cultural heritage
of India and the concept of 'Unity in Diversity'. She
wished all the Grade X students luck for their
upcoming board exams. The celebration culminated
with the National Anthem.
