EARTH DAY
CELEBRATION
An event was held to commemorate World Earth Day and raise awareness of the
need to protect the environment on the 21st April, 2022. The theme for Earth Day
2022 is "Invest in Our Planet," according to the organisation that sponsors the
event. This year's theme emphasises taking risks, broadening one's scope of
innovation, and using equitable practices. As a result, Grade V students led a
special assembly where Kiyanshi Bansal and Aarna Kandwal talked about the need
of protecting the environment. The three Rs rule-reuse, recycle, and reduce and
how we as responsible citizens may work to mitigate the effects of global warming
were the main topics covered by Aarna Kandwal.This was followed by a Hindi
poetry recited by Dhriti Singhania, and a mesmerising dance performance by the
little children of grade II.
