Preparation of Smears
• Steps:
1. Sample Collection: Use sterile technique to obtain a sample.
2. Thin Spread: Place a small drop on a clean slide and spread evenly
using another slide.
3. Air Drying: Allow the smear to air dry for 5-10 minutes.
4. Prevent Contamination: Use sterile tools and surfaces throughout
the process.
