Simple Staining Techniques
• Procedure:
• 1. **Prepare and Fix Smear.
• 2. **Stain Application:
• - Apply methylene blue for 1-2 minutes.
• - Alternative: Crystal violet or safranin.
• 3. **Rinse: Gently rinse with distilled water.
• 4. **Dry: Blot with filter paper and observe under a microscope at
1000x magnification.
