Date of Meeting: July 23, 2020

Type of Report: For Information Only

               Update:

This is surely a term of office we as board members will remember. We are facing challenges, some I
believe none of us anticipated. Please accept my sincere appreciation for your continued support in
               dealing with all of these.

Some of these challenges however, were a catalyst for positive changes. This includes initiatives to take
IAATI to whole new level with enormous benefits to the membership. One of such advances is the
propelling of many of the Association’s activities into the virtual world. Although challenging and relatively
new to a number of us, it hugely increases the opportunities to fully engage with the membership at
large, internationally, regarding nearly all our activities.

At the time of writing this report, the European Branch (EB) situation is still far from been resolved. With
our support, it is now the EB members who have to take the lead to, as a priority, elect a new Board. EB
Past President Renato Schipani, from Interpol, is taking a leading role in this.

As Board members, we all have to, at all times, assist each other to ensure compliance with the
Constitution, SOP and Code of Ethics. This, on an International, Branch and Chapter level. Let us all try
and always do the right thing, the best we can, whilst showing the members we care.

We are entering an exciting time in our history with a wide variety of training and meetings going virtual
at all levels. This all of a sudden open up participation to the members at a previously impossible level.
To do this in a structured way, without restricting anyone, Paul Thomas set up a Google Calendar for us to
keep track of everything. Please ensure you including all relevant dates for meetings and trainings on our
Google Calendar. This prevents the unfortunate circumstance where a member is forced to choose
               between overlapping sessions.

As you will notice from the reports, some committees are doing a sterling job, with a number of exciting
initiatives ongoing. Thank you to all the committee members for their voluntary, long hours and
dedication in serving the Association and membership.
