Absent with apologies - Iain McKinley (IM), Jean Slabbert (JS)

The first meeting was held to assist the Asian Branch with the setup of a Corporate Governance structure
that will comply with IAATI International Policies and Procedures.

The 2 main focuses to get the branch up and running are:
1. Membership (Corporate and Law Enforcement), and
2. Corporate Governance

Below is the extract of the minutes and the way forward!

1) Where we are in terms of Branch
• IAATI Asian Branch was successfully registered in the Registrar of Societies under the
Societies Act 1966 (Akta Pertubuhan 1966) and Societies Regulations 1984 (Peraturan-
peraturan Pertubuhan 1984) as follows: -
“Persatuan Penyiasat Kecurian Automotif Antarabangsa (International Association of Auto
Theft Investigation Asian Branch)
Registration number PPM 009-14-19122019
• There is a typo error to the organisation name in the process of being rectified: from
“Investigation” to “Investigators”.
