Manatee Elementary
Manatee Elementary in Viera hosted their fourth Thinga-ma-jogger, a Dr. Seuss themed 5K walk/run race. Inspired by all things Dr. Seuss, this event celebrates the Na onal Educa on Associa on’s Read Across America event. Along the way, runners found fun and colorful Dr. Seuss quotes and decora ons.
Manatee Elementary hosts a 5K in support of Read Across America.
    Merri  Island High
Sheila Pearlman’s early childhood class visited Verdi EcoSchool, an urban farm school in Eau Gallie. Her students from Merri  Island High are part of a dual- enrollment program at Eastern Florida State College where they learn about early childhood educa on. The students toured the Verdi EcoSchool campus to explore the preschool op ons available to Brevard County parents.
