                                                      Suntree Elementary
Students at Suntree Elementary in Melbourne recently celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday. First grade students and their parents marked the occasion with a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast. BPS Deputy Superintendent Dr.
Mark Mullins and district die  ans also a ended the celebra on. Cafeteria sta  got in on the fun by dressing up as popular Dr. Seuss characters like The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2. Also, students created green egg artwork, which was used to decorate the cafeteria.
Suntree Elementary serves green eggs and ham in honor of Dr. Seuss.
University Park Elementary
For three Saturdays in March, Love Brevard worked on
a beau  ca on project at University Park Elementary
in Melbourne. The e ort included pain ng about 40 classrooms, pressure washing, landscaping, revitalizing the sta  lounge and gi ing the school with radios and picnic tables. Love Brevard, an organiza on of 25 churches
that come together to support the community, plans to con nue serving the school throughout the year.

Theodore Roosevelt Elementary
Thanks to community support, Roosevelt Elementary
in Cocoa Beach is now home to a new playground. BPS Superintendent Dr. Desmond Blackburn even helped with spreading mulch around the play space. The seaside- inspired playground includes a climbing ramp, twisty slide and several play sta ons.
Roosevelt Elementary students can now enjoy a new playground.
