Story and Photos by Elizabeth Corrigan and Thien-Nhi Nguyen
Yeti and Hydro Flask are rapidly gaining popularity because of their outstanding features.
Without a doubt, Yeti and Hydro Flask are two water bottle brands that have taken teens by storm. Not only are they stylish, but they also have many beneficial features that help them stand out among other brands. Both Hydro Flask and Yeti are high quality products and do their jobs well. However, this leads consumers to ask: Which brand is better?
Yeti has many aspects that help it earn its popularity. Durability, variety in color, and insulation are just a few of its outstanding features.
“To me, it is the perfect water bottle” said Mckenna Sikal, 7.
But what about the Yeti makes it so great?
“When I got the Yeti, I was expecting it to be durable. It has exceeded my expectations,”
said Kira Orndoff, 9.
The strength of a Yeti is unparalleled. It can withstand the harshest of conditions,
all while minimizing the temperature difference in your beverage. Some water bottles even come with a tag that says “Designed to take any abuse you can dish out!”
In addition, Yeti also has superior insulation compared to Hydro Flask. When put to the test, the Yeti continually surpasses the Hydro Flask, keeping the drink insulated for longer periods of time.
“I like my Yeti because it keeps my drinks cold for hours which is something that’s very important to a person that lives in Florida,” said Orndoff.
When shopping for a water bottle, insulation is a key factor to consider. With the Yeti water bottle, you can guarantee that a drink will keep its temperature. Hydro Flask is excellent at insulating. However, Yeti proves to be the superior choice.
All of this goes to show that the Yeti does, in fact, live up to its motto: “Wildly stronger! Keep ice longer!” “I would recommend the Yeti more than the Hydro Flask for sure.” said Sikal, 7.
The Hydro Flask, however, does exceed the Yeti in other areas.
“I prefer Hydro Flask over other water bottles ,” said Bridget Black, 8.
One of the most prominent features of the Hydro Flask is the customization. Customers are able to personalize and change the colors and design to their liking.
“I like the customization on Hydro Flasks, because you can decorate it with whatever you want.” said Karly Dribble, 8, “It’s really fun to do.”
The lids are another aspect that help the Hydro Flask stand out. The straw lid, flex cap, and insulated sports cap are just a few of the lids to choose from.
“I really like the straw lid because it’s made me drink a lot more water and I’m less dehydrated.” said Gajera.
Hydro Flasks continually emerge with new features and accessories. Each new aspect improves its name and earns it more popularity. Although the Yeti is abundant in accessories,
the Hydro Flask comes up on top when considering the larger variety and assortment. “I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it.” said Gajera.
Both water bottles are top of the line products, and there is definitely competition between them. Each brand has their own unique details that make it better than the other. Yeti proves to be more durable that can cope in any environment, but the Hydro Flask allows more customization while still serving its purpose efficiently. With both water bottles having so many beneficial assets, it is difficult to choose the better brand. Depending on what you’re looking for, both the Hydro Flask and the Yeti are good choices. 8
