Burmese Python
With their cool giraffe-like patterns and the ability to grow very big, very fast, Burmese pythons are large and in charge. In terms of size, these giants can reach up to 23 ft. (7 m.) long, or the length of a small school bus, and can weigh up to 200 lbs. (90.7 kg)! Instead of fangs or venom, they use their strong bodies to constrict prey. They first find prey using special sensors in their tongues and jaws. Then, they chomp down to hold the animal in place, wind their bodies around it, and squeeze it until the prey dies. To enjoy its meal, the Burmese python separates its jaws and swallows the prey whole.
