Freedom 7 Participates in Global School Play Day
On February 5th, the entire student body of Freedom 7 Elementary School of International Studies, joined more than a half-million other students around the globe, to participate in the first Global School Play Day. GSPD
is a grassroots effort created by educators that raises awareness about the necessity of unstructured playtime for students worldwide. Freedom 7’s teachers and staff supervised safety and provided an unstructured day
of play. This empowered agency in the students and allowed them the opportunity to take ownership of a variety of learning experiences. The positive feedback from students was overwhelming! Check out the event at: Global School Play Day.
