      RE: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN RWANDA

      Dear Honorable President,
l a m delighted to write th.is letter to you and to all Members of GMBF Global as a follow-up to
                                                                        th
the exceptional gathering you organized at the India Club, Crystal Hall, Oud Metba, 27 June
2022, where I had an immense opportunity to present investment opportunities in Rwanda. At
that same occasion, I enjoyed cordial conversations with many of your members who expressed
enthusiastic interest to do business with/in Rwanda. It is in this spirit that I wish to highlight key
features of the favorable environment of doing business in Rwanda.
Located in East Africa, Rwanda has witnessed a remarkable transformation post the 1994
Genocide against the Tutsi which claimed over a million people. Under the visionary leadership
of H.E President Paul Kagame, Rwanda's transformation was catalyzed by 3 big choices of
      Unity, Accountability and Thinking Big.
Used to be known as a country of a thousand hills and now turned into a country of a miJlion
opportunities, Rwanda rose from ashes to become an emerging economy and a reliable partner in
pursuit of peace and security; rule of law, wealth creation th.rough development cooperation,
investment and tourism promotion, transfer of knowledge and technology, equitable world trade
      and regional integration.
According to the WorJd Bank, Rwanda is one of the ten fastest growing African countries that
have consistently enjoyed rapid growth (averaging 8% per annum), and the second country in
Africa where it is easiest to do business, where investors only need six hours to set up a
business. Due to ease of doing business and profitability on the ground, Rwanda registered
investments worth US$3.7 billion in 2021, up from US$ 1.3 billion in 2020. This is the highest
      investment registration to date!
