   ROLE OF NURSE CASE MANAGER CARING FOR DRUG ADDICTS WITH PSYCHIATRIC SYMPTOMS AND VIOLENT BEHAVIOR

Abstract
Problem situation from drug addiction is a tendency to increase violence behavior. This makes treatment more difficult and complicated. The important problem is severe psychiatric comorbidities that lead to aggressive behavior. Severely affects families, communities, and society. If the patient and family do not receive knowledge about proper self-care, the patient will not be able to behave properly. It has an impact on the family. community and environment. That is the cause of chronic problems and complexity in care planning.
Concepts of case management can be used to manage drug and substance abuse patients with psychiatric symptoms and violent behavior. Because this group of patients is more complex care than caring substance addiction problems or mental disorders. Case manager should set comprehensive, appropriate nursing goals that can help patients stop using drugs and reduce psychiatric symptoms and can make understanding to deal with comorbid conditions the risk of violent behavior that patients have. At last, to help patients was no relapse and do not cause violence to yourself or others.
