Mr. Duane Willingham II is the College, Career, and Military Liaison
(FAC). After earning a bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois
Springfield he worked for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and
National Louis University. Mr. Willingham is passionate about helping
students develop successful post-secondary plans. Since coming to District
227, Mr. Willingham has been instrumental in shifting the post-secondary
culture in the District. His first year working at Rich South 100% of the
senior class were accepted into college (first time in school history). Mr.
Willingham believes the work he is doing will aid students to do the work
in this life that their souls must have. Currently, Mr. Willingham is
pursuing a master’s of divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary.
