After School Boot Camps for Advanced Placement and SAT began the last week of September.
These camps target specific students enrolled in AP courses in order to help them remain successful
and prepare them for their spring exam. The SAT Boot Camp is open to all interested students and
provides students an opportunity to work on specific reading, writing, and math skills assessed on
the PSAT Full Suite of Assessments.
Fine Arts
Director is developing partnerships and group memberships with local and Chicago Fine and Performing
Arts organizations that will increase student exposure; enhance the teaching and learning experience at Rich
Township High School; and increase teacher capacity in the Arts Department.
Director has met with and walked the building with the Principal to identify instructional, storage and
teacher space for the Music Department. Director has met with and completed needs assessment with each
Fine Arts teacher including Theatre sponsors.
*Established monthly department check-in to confirm events, student progress and schedule how we can
support each other as an inclusive department.
Teachers are posting weekly on Instagram and Twitter to bring awareness to the exceptional visual and
performing arts at both campuses. We will use this platform to celebrate students and keep our parents,

Organization
Established a timeline to implement the Middle Years and Diploma Programme in District 227
Identified leadership team for the IB Programmes (Head of School, Middle Years Programme
Coordinator, Diploma Programme Coordinator, and Diploma Programme Counselor)
Created DRAFT Job Description for IB Coordinators
Scheduled mandatory training for leadership team for Middle Years Programme and Diploma
Programme (October-November)
Conducted initial conversations with the Fine Arts teachers about the vision of
International Baccalaureate and Fine Arts in the upper grades
Leadership and current IB teachers participated in Intro to IB Part I & II training (Late Start
Wednesday 9/16, 9/23)
