Information Technology Board Report April 2021
The Information Technology Department supports parents and students daily who are experiencing
technology issues with devices or any other technology-related matters. Support is provided over the
               phone, online or in-person.

The Scholarchip system is fully implemented, and with some of our students back to in-person
instruction, students start their day by scanning into the KIOSK at the main entrance and their
classrooms for attendance. In addition, other areas of scanning include the Media Center, lunchroom,
and student support office areas. We continue to work with the campus administration to refine and
               improve the processes.

Over the past weeks, the operations team members have conducted numerous vendor and product
interviews. Our goal is to identify solutions for network upgrades, access control, security cameras,
phone systems, and audiovisual needs. We anticipate completing most of this work over the summer.
Technology work at the Transition Center is going strong with our vendor installing security cameras,
access control, internet, and wireless access systems.

We have started meeting internally for online registration. This year we want to begin the process
earlier so parents will have ample time to complete their online registration. Additional information
and dates will be provided as soon as they become available.
The Technology Department is preparing to meet our student's needs for summer school. Additional
Chromebooks or cellular phones with hotspot capabilities will be provided.
