Rich Central - Haney

Teachers and students are continuing to participate in remote learning.

During our staff meeting on May 1, Rich Central will have a guest speaker. Eddie B. is a teacher,
comedian, motivational speaker. He uses comedy to give a realistic portrayal of the hectic life of a
teacher. We can all certainly use uplifting humor at this time. He joined us remotely on Zoom.

Staff meetings will be held regularly using the Zoom platform.

Our educational services department continues to work hard on school staffing, teacher
assignments, and schedules for next year.

Even though we may not physically be at school, recognizing our students does not stop. We will
still have our students of the month. Certificates and a small reward will be delivered personally to
the deserving students

May includes Teacher Appreciation Week. Rich Central will be providing recognition yard signs to
our teachers to show our gratitude and appreciation.

We are finalizing plans for students to pick up belongings from their lockers. Seniors will also be
receiving their cap and gowns.

Staff will be provided with a plan soon on when they can access their classrooms to pick up
materials and personal belongings.

The administration is excited to announce that we will be delivering yard signs to our graduating
Class of 2020! We are extremely proud of our graduates and want to show our support to them
during this time.

Rich South - Varn

Rich South is continuing to reach out to students who have not connected virtually. Our average
participation rate is about 65%. We hope to increase that to more than 70% in May.

On April 24, a virtual graduation level meeting was held for seniors. Students where updated on
senior activities. About 50 students participated. Additional grade level meetings are being
scheduled.
Weekly, Rich South has held virtual staff meetings. Meetings take place on Fridays and 80 staff
members usually participate.
