A duo from near Lancashire had plenty to
celebrate down at Agrifest South West when
they not only claimed the Supreme
Championship with a pure-bred pair of lambs,
but also the Reserve with their butchers’ lambs
and a haul of red tickets to boot.
Leading the way for Robert Garth and Sarah Priestley
was their pure-bred pair of ewe lambs by Todhall
Freddy – the same sire which produced numerous
winners on the circuit for them last year, including at
Agrifest South West.
Notably, their Reserve pair which first won the 70kg to
80kg class before taking the Butchers’ Championship
were also pure-bred ewe lambs by the Todhall ram.
The pair won no fewer than six red rosettes and several
championships, with Robert’s daughters Libby and
Rosie also heading up the young breeders class.
