CRITICAL ANGLE

the angle of refraction reaches 90° and the light is refracted along
the boundary between the two materials. The angle of incidence

which results in this effect is called the Critical Angle.

We can calculate the value of the critical angle by assuming the angle
of refraction to be 90° and transposing Snell’s
