to me and I consider the Church Books my babies! I strong-
ly disagreed with the Governor and told him I care for these
books all my life, I told him: “It is impossible that I hand over

the holy books. I will protect them the way I would protect
my children. These books have life and salvation.

The governor got very angry and threatened to torture me.
By the power of God, I refused his orders and told him that I

wasn’t afraid of his threats for my Lord and God Jesus Christ
is with me and He helped
me to endure all the physi-

cal pain. Arian ordered his
soldiers to torture me, but I
prayed to my Lord and His

power strengthened me to
endure the pain.
