My name is Timothy. I was born in the village of
Ansena in Egypt. I am a deacon in the church,

scribe, and a keeper of divine service books. My
job is to keep the books, copy them (handwrit-
ing) and organize them. My wife Maura and I

love going to church and committed to study the
Holy Bible.
Back then, the emperor gave ordered to persecute all the Chris-

tians. He ordered all the Christian books to be burned and Chris-
tians to worship idols instead of the True God.
However, because of their love and the Lord’s protection, the mar-

tyrs were firm in their faith. They were great witnesses for the Lord
to everyone that saw them. They even give up everything they had

even their lives for their faith.
One day, Arian the Governor called my wife, Maura, and I to his
palace. I crossed myself with the Sign of the Cross to be able to be

strong and not to be afraid from the King’s orders. The Governor
demanded to I hand over the holy books of the church to him to
