Only 300 men drank water in their hands. Now God told Gideon these
men are just enough for you to fight the Midianites and win the war. As

for the rest of the men, tell them to go home.
God told Gideon to prepare the 300 men for war and to move on to start

the fight.

Vico: I am confused! Only 300 men will fight 135 THOUSAND men! No

way! I don’t think Gideon has any chance of winning. What happened
next?

Pino: Gideon divided the 300 men to 3 groups. Each group was 100 men
and Gideon gave each man a trumpet, and an empty pitcher with a torch

inside it. He took one group of 100 men and asked the other 2 groups to
watch what he was about to do and copy him.

When it was nighttime, Gideon and his men
besieged the army of the Midianites and blew

in his trumpet and broke the pitchers in their
hands. Then the two other groups did

the same as Gideon. It made such a
very loud noise from blowing in the

trumpets and breaking the pitchers. It
sounded like the sound of many war

tankers. The army of the Midianites
woke up in the middle of the night

from their sleep and were terrified
